Tashi Delek! Welcome to Lhasa, capital of the Tibet Autonomous Region. After arriving at Gonggar International Airport or Lhasa Railway Station, your guide will greet you with a khata scarf and escort you to your city hotel (approx. 60 km from the airport, 1-1.5 hrs drive). After check-in, spend the day resting to acclimatise fully. [Altitude Reminder] Avoid strenuous activity and bathing on arrival day; drink plenty of warm water; no smoking or alcohol. Inform your guide immediately if you feel unwell. [Foreign & Taiwan Visitors] A licensed guide must accompany you throughout as required.
